Communication & Letters Home
Home School Diary
At South Rise Primary School every child has a home school reading journal which hopes to provide a direct exchange of information and dialogue between home and school. We aim to ensure that parents and carers are fully informed about their child's daily activities and wellbeing as well as providing our children with a voice to enable them to communicate their daily activities at home or school. This diary is also used for staff, parents and carers to add comments when reading with children. We believe that all children will learn better if home and school work together in partnership.
My Child at School
Communications eg, texts and emails are usually sent through MCAS. Usernames and passwords are issued during the admission process and a simple guide can be found below in the attachments section.
CONTACTING STAFF
We understand that for many people email is a quick and efficient way of communicating, so, with this in mind, we are committed to passing on emails to staff that come through our Office in a timely fashion.
Parents' Evenings
We have three parents'e evenings each year. These meetings are an opportunity to talk about your child, including how they have settled into class and to discuss their learning. Teachers share ways in which your child is learning and making progress through samples of work and discussion.
Annual Reports
Annual reports are prepared at the end of the summer term to give an overview of how each child has progressed during the academic year.
