All of our school meals are cooked on site.  All food is displayed appetisingly, and children are encouraged to try new foods. As part of our commitment to a healthy school we are always monitoring the quality of school meals and are committed to providing healthy balanced meals on a daily basis.

From September 2023 all primary aged children are entitled to a Free School Meal paid for by the government.

*NEW* Deli Option

Our catering company, Chartwells, are exploring the option of providing cold deli options as part of the school dinner menu. 

As school meals are free for all primary school aged children (Reception to Year 6) we would like for all children to have their FREE school meal. 

If this was to be available, the deli options would be cream cheese and cucumber pitta pocket, egg mayonnaise roll, tuna and sweetcorn wrap, cheese baguette, ham sandwich. These would be served with salad from the school salad bar and the dessert option of the day. 
 

There are also already 4 hot dishes each day; a meat option, a vegetarian dish, hot tomato pasta or a jacket potato with a choice of toppings, including baked beans or cheese.
